Join us in Rockaway on Sunday, July 23 for a yacht rock pop-up choir!
We will learn the 1975 classic "Love Will Keep Us Together" by Captain and Tennille on top of a houseboat and record a version that you can share with friends and family. This is a more laid-back workshop than our typical ones and the hosts have invited us to stay afterwards and hang out on the boat / at the marina for food and beverages. Kids are ok as long as you watch them! Note that the houseboat is a stationary boat - this choir will stay docked. All voices welcome!
Location: Marina 59 is two short blocks from the A Train at Beach 60th St., a shuttle ride away from the NYC Ferry landing and steps from the Rockaway Beach Boardwalk. We will sing and perform aboard a houseboat on C-Dock. There is a gate in front of the marina, so you may need to text one of us to get in.
