Yacht Rock Choir: Season 6 (Winter/Spring 2026)

2-3 rehearsals per month on a custom schedule according to the following principles:

1. No more than 2 Saturdays per month

2. A mix of Saturdays (1:30–3:30 PM) and Thursdays (6:30–8:30 PM)

3. 2 additional rehearsals with your voice section - one mid-cycle and one toward the end.

Important info:  When you sign up, you'll notice a checkbox to acknowledge Membership Dues ($100 for new members - includes T-shirt, $80 for returning members). This fee covers, but is not limited to, payment for venue and sound engineer fees and show/rehearsal supplies. If this fee presents any challenges for you, contribute what you can (no questions asked). I'm committed to making sure no one misses out due to financial reasons.

Frequently asked questions

Q: I'm a new member. Do I need to audition?

A: Get in touch (michellen@gmail.com or yachtrockchoir@gmail.com) and we’ll set you up with a chill little audition - just some basic pitch matching, nothing fancy.

Q: I can't make all of the dates. Should I still sign up? 

A: Yes, as long as you're committed to learn the material you missed on your own. There will be practice tracks and sectionals, so if you miss a date, you can catch up and still perform with us. With that said, it's recommended that you miss no more than 4 rehearsals per season.

Q: Do I have to pay?

A: Contribute what you can, no questions asked.
