I Can't Go For That (No Can Do) Pop-Up Choir

Join us in Prospect Park on Saturday, July 27 for a yacht rock pop-up choir!

We'll learn the classic "I Can't Go For That (No Can Do)" in 4 part harmony on picnic blankets, then perform it in Cleft Ridge Arch (where acoustics are amazing!) and record a version you can share with friends and family. All levels and singing abilities are welcome, whether you prefer learning with sheet music or by ear.

Note: This event embraces an atmosphere of inclusion and comfort for all attendees. While the majority of the workshop, including learning the song, will take place on picnic blankets, we understand that this setup may not suit everyone's needs. If you require alternative seating arrangements, such as a chair, we kindly ask you to fill out this form. We're dedicated to ensuring everyone enjoys the event in a way that's comfortable for them. 

Location: The grassy area across from Cleft Ridge Span in Prospect Park (when you use Google Maps to find the arch, it puts you on top of the arch. You will need to follow the path below to get to the arch). When you come in from Lincoln Road and Ocean Avenue, follow the path down. If you see the boathouse, you've gone too far!
